The Ferrier opens on Bankside
A 90-room independent hotel opens today in a restored 1890s hop warehouse on Sumner Street, between Tate Modern and Borough Market, with a restaurant, bar, spa and five event spaces.

The Undercroft spa opens in the warehouse vaults
Three treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and cold plunge in the brick vaults under the hotel, open to guests and to the public.

Pike Garden launches a six-course chef’s menu
Head chef Ravi Chandran’s tasting menu, served Thursday to Saturday, follows the Kent and Sussex growing year.

The Loft and roof terrace open for private events
A top-floor room for 22 seated or 45 standing, opening onto a planted roof terrace with views over Bankside.
