Frequently asked questions

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. We let you in from 13:00 when the room is ready, and store luggage free before and after.

Is breakfast included?

Only on breakfast rates. Otherwise it is £16 for the counter or £22 for the counter and a hot dish in Pike Garden; on breakfast rates it is £18 per adult per night.

Do you charge city tax?

No. London has no city or tourist tax. All our prices include VAT at 20%.

Is there parking?

No, there is no parking at the hotel. The hotel is inside the Congestion Charge and ULEZ zone; we recommend arriving by train or tube. Public car parks within ten minutes charge from about £30 a day.

Do you have a pool or gym?

There is no pool. The Undercroft spa has a sauna, steam room and cold plunge, and there is a small 24-hour gym for hotel guests.

Can I get a VAT invoice for my company?

Yes. Add the company name when you book or at check-in and we email a VAT invoice at check-out.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Five Classic Kings are accessible rooms with a wet room, and the building is step-free throughout. See our accessibility page.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs up to 20 kg are welcome in selected ground-floor rooms for £30 a night. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere, free.

How quiet are the rooms?

Windows are double-glazed acoustic units. Courtyard-facing rooms are the quietest; Sumner Street is quiet at night but has deliveries from 06:00. Ask for courtyard when you book.

Do you offer corporate rates?

Companies that book with us regularly can ask for a corporate agreement. Email r+ferrier-stay@haggl.ai with an idea of how many nights a year you expect.

Do you have a loyalty programme?

Not a points programme. We remember our regulars: how you like your room, your coffee and your newspaper, and the reservations team looks after people who come back.

How far is it to the airports?

Gatwick: about 40 minutes on Thameslink from Blackfriars. Heathrow: about 55 minutes on the Elizabeth line and Thameslink. City Airport: about 35 minutes. See getting here in our journal.

Is the spa open to non-residents?

Yes. Treatments and the spa evening are open to everyone; hotel guests get priority booking.

Can I hold a meeting in my suite?

Up to six people in a Ferrier Suite for a working day, with coffee and lunch from Pike Garden. Ask the events team.
