Booking policies
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00. When the room is ready we let you in from 13:00 at no charge; guaranteed early check-in or late check-out until 15:00 is £40. We store luggage free on the day of arrival and departure.
Rates and payment
All prices are per room per night in pounds sterling and include VAT at 20%. London has no city or tourist tax. Flexible rates are guaranteed with a card and paid at check-out. Advance rates are 12% lower and charged in full when the booking is confirmed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We don’t accept cash for room charges.
Cancellations and changes
Flexible rates: cancel or change free of charge until 15:00 (UK time) the day before arrival. After that, and for no-shows, we charge the first night. Leaving early: we charge the night of departure. Advance rates can’t be cancelled, changed or refunded.
Groups
Nine rooms or more are booked through our events team under a group agreement with its own deposit, release dates and attrition terms. See meetings and groups.
Children, cots and extra beds
Children are welcome. Cots are free in any room except Snugs. Studio Suites and Ferrier Suites have a sofa bed for a third guest: £35 a night for an adult, free for under-12s. Guests booking a room must be 18 or over.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs up to 20 kg are welcome in Classic Kings on the ground floor of the courtyard wing, £30 a night, bed and bowls provided. Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere, free.
Deposit for incidentals
On flexible rates we pre-authorise the first night plus £50 a night for incidentals at check-in; on Advance rates £50 a night. Unused amounts are released at check-out; your bank may take a few days.
Smoking
The Ferrier is non-smoking throughout, including vapes. A deep-clean fee of £250 applies.
